before July 2002 when Edwin had chosen the Ugly Pink Goalkeeper
Shirt for the Season 2002/2003 after contact with Feyenoord and
Kappa. At the first training this shirt was shown for the first
time in public. Almost every Feyenoord Supporter was against this
Colour, not fitting within the Club Culture and being the Housestyle
Colour of Gay Capital 020. Independent Fanzine Lunatic
News started an e-mail
protest and within 24 hours they received almost 400 negative
reactions [+ 6 postive]. Not much later Feyenoord announced the
cancellation of the Pink Shirt, although it could still be bought
at the Fanshop. 'Q on Tour' now shows you the 'Gallery of Goalkeeper
Shirts' worn by the Goalkeepers of this Season 2002/2003, up to
almost 50 photos, from Edwin Zoetebier to Patrick Lodewijks to
Carlo L'Ami to Jesper Hogedoorn... Buffon and a Fan :: |
